THE WORLD CHALLENGE FOUNDATION INC(이하 TWCㆍ세계도전재단)는 미국 국세청(IRS)으로부터 501(c)(3) 공익 자선단체로 7월23일 공식 승인받았다.

THE WORLD CHALLENGE FOUNDATION INC (TWCㆍ세계도전재단) has officially been recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)(3) public charity.

이번 승인은 TWC(세계도전재단)가 미국 내에서 안정적인 법적 기반 위에 공익 활동을 추진할 수 있는 자격을 부여받은 것으로, 후원자는 미국 세법에 따라 기부금에 대한 세금 공제를 받을 수 있다.
This designation allows TWC to conduct nonprofit activities on a solid legal foundation in the United States, and donors may now receive tax deductions under U.S. law for their contributions.

이번 승인을 계기로, TWC는 전 세계를 대상으로 한 글로벌 프로젝트와 국제협력을 본격화할 계획이다.
With this milestone, TWC plans to expand its global projects and international partnerships.

TWC는 “도전, 나눔, 교육, 리더십”을 핵심 가치로 하여 세계 각지에서 공익 활동을 실현해왔으며, IRS 공식 인정을 통해 미국 내는 물론 전 세계적으로 신뢰와 투명성을 갖춘 비영리기관으로서 입지를 강화하게 되었다.
TWC has pursued public service initiatives based on the values of “challenge, compassion, education, and leadership,” and this IRS recognition strengthens its position as a transparent and credible nonprofit organization both in the U.S. and globally.

조직 구성 (Leadership)
TWC(세계도전재단)는 다음과 같은 리더십 체계를 갖추고 있으며, 국내외 유력 인사들을 후속 추대하여 글로벌 위상을 더욱 강화할 예정이다.
TWC is led by the following key figures, and plans to appoint additional prominent domestic and international leaders to further expand its global influence:

• 회장 (Chairman):  조영관 박사ㆍ도전한국인본부 상임대표 (Dr. Youngkwan Cho)
